CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, AND DEVELOPMENT:

First let me say, Cowboy Ranch is a clean sweet Christian romance.  Although a short read, I became invested in the characters and the premise of the book was interesting.  Short reads and novella, unlike their parent the novel, must pack a lot into a short space without in-depth plotting and development.

That said, I felt the story ended abruptly, leaving the reader hanging.  Consequently, book two of this series should pick up where this story left off.  Although I found several editing errors, they did not affect the story-line or my enjoyment of the story.

Finally, in concluding my romance book review of Cowboy Ranch, I felt the ending needed finessing to reduce the abruptness, and re-editing.  Fletcher created a good story-line and filled the pages with great characters; I have high hopes for this series.
