STORY-LINE HENRY AND THE HIDDEN TREASURE:
Henry has a problem. He wants to keep his pocket-money safe from his sister Lucy. His parents want him to put it in the bank, but Henry knows he’s the only one who can keep his money safe. Henry devises an elaborate plan for safe keeping of his treasure. Involving a cave, maze, a huge pink pig, robots, and much more, Henry’s sure his treasure will be safe. Come along with Henry as he builds his safe place and sees if Lucy, the ninja spy, can break in. My book review of Henry And The Hidden Treasure follows.
REVIEW AND MY OPINION:
Author B.C.R. Fegan created a fantastic entertaining teaching tool for children. Using numbers, parental advise, imagination, and siblings, Fegan shows the child the value of his parent’s advice and his sister’s love. Each book Fegan creates teaches children valuable lessons using teaching tools through story and pictures. Henry learns valuable lessons in Henry and The Hidden Treasure. Will Henry learn Lucy never wanted his treasure?
Fegan fully developed Henry and The Hidden Treasure including learning lessons suitable for any child. Of course, an older child/adult reading to younger children can explain the lessons learned by Henry. As well as, point out the concept of the story in the colorful pictures. The pictures are well done and colorful with a story-line which will intrigue the child. Most children can not sit for long periods of time, the length of this book‘s perfect for the K-3 age group. I am 67, and I enjoyed reading Henry’s adventure and the lessons he learned.
