CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

Keeping The Spy’s an easy to read and entertaining book.  Perfect for an afternoon of lazing on the beach, on the porch or your favorite easy chair.  Pinder filled Keeping The Spy with twists and turns as well as suspense, packing it full of action.  The action starts early and does not let up as the reader follows Liam and Sherry from one end of the USA to another.

Sherry’s character’s seen as frightened to death by the situation she finds herself in. She’s insecure with relationships and doesn’t see herself as Liam does.   While Liam oozes confident; not only is he a billionaire, he’s handsome and confident. He is man of confidence in everything except Sherry; with her he is an insecure mess.  I loved now he felt about Sherry and the fact the attractive went back to high school.  Pinder portrayed them as star-crossed loves, who just can not connect.  Pinder allowed the emotion and attraction to grow throughout the story-line.

A nasty piece of work, Pinder’s villains made my skin crawl. Pinder developed her characters well and the plotting fast paced; filled with suspense, intrigue and attraction. Finally, in concluding my reviews for contemporary suspense romance novel Keeping The spy, I found a book which held my attention with realistic characters, suspense, and action.  I found a few minor editing errors which do not impact my enjoyment of the book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR/LINKS:

USA Today Bestselling Author, Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston before moving to the Miami sun. She’s worked in engineering, after passing many tests proving how easy Math came to her. Then hating her life at the age of twenty-four, she decided to go to law school. Four years later, after passing the bar and practicing very little, she realized that she hates the practice of law. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had

nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.

During all this time, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down. Her parents are practical minded people demanding a job, and Victoria spent too many years living other people’s dreams, but when she sat down to see what skill she had that matched what she enjoyed doing, writing became so obvious. The middle school year book when someone wrote in it that one day she’d be a writer made sense when she turned thirty.

She’s always been amazing, adventurous and assured. It’s what gets her through the day. Her website is:
