MARRY YOUR BILLIONAIRE STORY LINE:

In Marry Your Billionaire, C. J. Anaya created a fun-filled romp through reality television and love.   Corbin Knight, self-centered producer of Marry Your Billionaire, has recruited the contestants and roped in billionaire Brody Prescott for the billionaire slot.  Brody needs to repair his business reputation.  Sabotaged by a former female interest, Brody agrees to appear on the show after a revealing revelation in Corbin’s office.

Corbin has a problem; one of his contestants cancelled.  He decides to recruit his daughter Madelyn Knight, aka, Midge to fill the slot.  He has one problem with this solution, Midge walked away from him and Hollywood to attend college and become an author.  Leaving behind the jaded Hollywood scene, Midge has no intention of returning.  However, Midge has a problem.  Her scholarship monies have dried up.  As an aspiring romance author, Midge needs funds to finish her courses and graduate college.

Using the trust fund as leverage, Corbin blackmails Midge into filling the vacant slot for one night.  Meanwhile, Brody has other ideas.  He has no intention of eliminating Midge and loosing her again.  They have a past, short and intense. However, Midge ran from Brody and her own insecurities.  The attraction between Brody and Midge is powerful.

The chase is on!  Come along as Brody and Midge traverse the high and lows of reality television, devious rivals intent on winning, insecurities, misunderstandings and romance along with hilarious quips and stunts.  My romance novel review of Marry Your Billionaire follows.

MARRY YOUR BILLIONAIRE, CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, AND DEVELOPMENT:

Author C. J. Anaya created a wonderful chase as Brody runs down Midge.  Midge and Brody have past relationship issues of betrayal by parasites.  Midge’s lack of confidence and insecurity color her life.  Meanwhile, Midge blocks Brody at every turn.  The quips and pranks are hilarious as we watch Midge out maneuver Brody.   Furthermore, Ms. Anaya’s development of Midge’s character was wonderful as she comes to know her own value.  Brody is a knight in shining armor, ready to defend his lady and win her love.

In addition, I found the plot well-developed as Ms. Anaya wove a fun romantic story into a solid book.  Furthermore, Ms. Anaya included suspense, mystery, misunderstandings and misconceptions.  Her inclusion of a well-developed villain you will love to hate was brilliant.

In concluding the romance novel review of Marry Your Billionaire, Ms. Anaya crafted a solid well-written novel with well-developed characters.
