STORY-LINE:

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:
This boxed set is played out in four separate tales bundled together. I like reading from one drama to the next without having to wait for the upcoming release. With fast-paced plotting and an intriguing storyline, Thorne enthralls the reader immediately. I found the pace smooth and steady as each drama progresses smoothly without interruption or feeling disjointed. Isabella Thorne transitions her story seamlessly from scene to scene.
Thorne developed the characters in this bundle progressively. I loved the fact Amelia stood up for herself and matures significantly by the end of story 4. Developing Samuel’s characters, the reader finds a second son who does not wish to be in first place except in his father’s regard. Can a spoiled pampered socialite become a genuine diamond of the first water?
Thorne slowly built the feelings between Samuel and Amelia allowing the reader to relax and enjoy the scope of emotions, disagreements, and mystery. I liked the descriptions of the dresses and gardens. How beautiful it must have been. The mystery‘s kept at a high peak.
In concluding my romance book reviews, I found a solid well-written story-line with well-developed characters. With mystery and romance, who wouldn’t enjoy this story? I would not hesitate to buy this novel for my self or a friend. This is a clean easy to read love story suitable for anyone.
