CHARACTERS, PLOTTING DEVELOPMENT:

Sherwood Mail Order Brides by author Emily Woods entertains the reader with sweet clean romance set in the old West.  Each perspective bride and groom look to mail order bride advertising to fill their life with love and happiness.  Emily Woods created stories with morals and people with a strong sense of character, as well as, faith in God.  With skill, Woods developed situations each couple must overcome to reach happily ever after.

Authors can not develop short stories and novella as a novel due to the short length, however, Woods, skillfully crafted four stories which will hold your interest and entertain.  All set in Sherwood Texas, during the late 1800’s.  A period which required strong men and women to settle and survive life in the West.  The last story’s the first book from Emily Woods‘ series, Mail Order Brides Of Gold Creek.

Woods descriptions are vivid;  I could see the dirt streets, the stores, and smell air in the wide open spaces of Sherwood.  Her scenes transition smoothly from scene to scene, and her writing flows smoothly without stops or bogging down.  Perfect for anyone who loves sweet clean love stories from the old West.  I would not hesitate to buy this romance book for myself or a friend.
