STORY-LINE:

In Terri Grace’s book bundle, we are treated to two books which flow from one tale to the next. The first story, The Seven Sons of Jethro, introduces Jethro Knerr and Miriam. Raised in the same orphanage, they fell in love. He fled at sixteen and returned for Miriam three years later. They married and started a family as he worked the docks.

Wanting more for their family, they headed west to the land of opportunity where they have seven sons. When tragedy struck, Jethro raised his sons and wanted the same thing Miriam and he had for his boys. Contacting Ms. Molly White’s matrimonial service back East for mail-order brides, he searches for Godly women. As a result, they begin with the oldest, Alan. Unbeknownst to the brothers, they are all on their father’s list for mail-order brides.

In The Flight of Love, the drama continues with Cynthia Knowles. Left alone with two brothers to raise after their parent’s death, she finds growing boys more than a handful. She’s at her wit’s end when Mark goes beyond pranks into real trouble. Her friend Molly White has the answer. Cynthia will travel west as Alan’s mail-order bride.

Things are rocky, to say the least, and their path does not run smooth. My romance book reviews follow.

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

First, let me say, what a deal the reader gets in this two for one bundle. The collection follows, without hesitation, from one story to the next without lagging or feeling disconnected. I like to read collections which continue the drama seamlessly. I found these stories, a light, relaxing read, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. Incidentally, I have to admit mail-order brides are one of my favorite genres.

Terri Grace created, clean, sweet inspirational stories containing faith, family, and romance without the need for fluff or sex to fill the pages. Her plotting is smooth, seamless, and steady. The personalities of the brothers are varied; each has a different personality which Grace developed fully. These young men are strong, handsome, and possess faith.

Cynthia”s a strong woman who does not take guff from anyone. She stands up to Alan and all he dishes out. He is the caretaker, putting others before himself, however, he must face unresolved issues. When a crisis occurs will he accept what God has given him?

In conclusion, I found two light, sweet, clean, solid stories which grabbed my attention immediately. I would not hesitate to buy this bundle for my self or a friend.
